The under was sitting right there and it's the safer thing to do. But my read isn't 'this is a quiet game' — it's that these two finish level. Backing the under would be betting a watered-down version of the one thing I'm actually confident about. Macará came through the group unbeaten and Santos just got beaten on this pitch.
