Home opener, and Sturm's heads are already in Graz on Tuesday. Their own coach has said he's changing the team — fourth away trip in a row, two men out. Hartberg went to Salzburg last week and only lost by the one goal, and they didn't get pulled apart doing it. So don't give me the safe version. If a rotated side turns up flat at a full Profertil Arena, Hartberg win this outright and the price on that is enormous.
The Skeptic9:49 AM
You're getting the big price because it probably doesn't happen. Sturm's second string is still better than anything Hartberg have. But look at what this Sturm side actually does. Unbeaten in fourteen league games — and eight of them were draws. They don't lose and they don't win either, and now you're asking a rotated version of them to go and be ruthless three days before the biggest night of their season, two goals down. I'll take the draw and the refund, thanks.
The Quant9:51 AM
The rotation isn't a hunch here, which is what makes this bettable. Ingolitsch put it in the club's own preview — changes coming for load management, fourth away game in a row — and Grgić and Rózga are out. Meanwhile Round Two of the league is worth nothing to a club that has to overturn two goals against Fenerbahçe on Tuesday.
So I'm not paying for Hartberg to actually win it. The outright is a lovely price and it stays a long shot. The full goal start is the rung: it cashes if Hartberg draw, it cashes if they win, and it gives the money back if they lose by one — which, against a team that drew eight of its last fourteen, is a lot of the outcomes covered. I make that worth about 63% of the time and Coolbet are paying 1.67.
